National Merit Finalists
Falcon Seniors Earn National Merit Finalist Honor
Timber Creek High School is proud to recognize two outstanding seniors who have advanced to Finalist standing in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program, one of the nation’s most prestigious academic competitions. These students were previously named among more than 16,000 Semifinalists nationwide, selected from over 1.3 million high school juniors who took the PSAT/NMSQT®. Representing less than one percent of graduating seniors across the country, National Merit Semifinalists are honored for exceptional academic performance and distinguished achievements both inside and outside the classroom.
Earning Finalist status requires students to demonstrate a sustained record of academic excellence, meaningful leadership, and active involvement in school and community activities, along with the submission of a comprehensive application endorsed by their school. As Finalists, these students are now eligible to compete for approximately 6,900 National Merit Scholarships awarded nationwide, totaling nearly $26 million. This accomplishment reflects their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence in both academics and leadership.
Congratulations to this year’s Timber Creek National Merit Finalists:
